Rooms are large in the Vaughan Lodge - 30sq metres with power showers, safe, Iron & Board, CD player TV and very comfortable beds. Some rooms have sea views and larger executive rooms are available. The bar/lounge is an intimate room with fireplace.

The property has a clubby atmosphere with a very high quality of finish throughout. The restaurant at Vaughan Lodge is a serious fine dining venue and is very popular with locals. The food is French/Irish with a strong emphasis on fresh quality local ingredients. Michael Vaughan supervises the room each evening and engages with guests in a light friendly manner.

Vaughan Lodge is a select property offering a quality experience. This hotel is not really a family destination, the focus being on a traditional style hotel, and there is no leisure facility etc. for children. Most of the hotel guests tend to be American Golfers, Couples and individuals, well travelled, who appreciate the charms of a smaller property with a "mine host" atmosphere.

The overall ambience is sedate and understated, a real location to relax and unwind in the traditional hotel style of good food, good rooms and bonhomie.
