| About Thomas Cooks Explorers Hotel |
| The legendary explorer Sir Archibald de Bacle hung up his coat and transformed his marvellous French manor house into an explorer's hotel, filled with treasures and surprises from all over the world. Become a member of Sir Archie's fearless crew and relive some of his best adventures. Climb on board Sir Archie's ship 'The Golden Find' and be prepared for adventure! Plunge into the warm, clear waters of the Secret Lagoon swimming pool. Young explorers can put their climbing and adventuring skills to the test at Scally Wagg's Jungle Adventures or sign up on a treasure hunt, following long-lost maps and clues, to search out hidden treasures from far-away lands. When it's time to "re-provision", the Explorers Hotel looks after all tastes and appetites (except we don't serve cannibals)! Take your pick from the international market stalls of the all-you-can-eat buffet Plantation Restaurant, have a well-deserved drink at the Trader's Bar, taste a delicious French pastry or snack at the Brioche Dore and finally, enjoy an exquisite and typically 'French Cuisine' in the Captain's Library Restaurant Once arrived at The Explorers, you straightaway become part of Sir Archie's crew. So first step will be to stow away your gear in the crew quarters. These are designed for young and old explorers alike. Babies can have their free baby cot upon request! Room description :
