The park is well known for its old English garden, the Rosary Terrace and its lakes.

Eight bus routes pass the door to Barking, Dagenham, Chigwell and further afield.

Park Hotel has been established for over twenty-five years and is run as a family business by the resident proprietors. Free car parking is available in the hotel grounds.
