| About The New President Hotel |
There have been many changes for the better at The New President Hotel since the new Management team took over in April 2006. We have undergone an amazing refurbishment costing over £800,000.00 to date, and we are still improving our facilities and accomodation all the time!
To date we have totally refurbished the Kennedy's Cabaret Bar to a modern design, where the floor is all sprung oak dance floor, we have new comfortable leather chairs and tables, a new bar - with disabled access. Disabled toilet facilities and baby changing unit.
The Lincolns Coffee shop has also been refurbished to a high standard. We have rebuilt over 58 bathrooms to date, and by June we will have the first of 3 executive rooms with fully accessible bathrooms with wet rooms, grab rails etc.
The Atlanta Restaurant has been redesigned and offers a fabulous Carvery Menu in plush contemporary surroundings, topped off with stunning views over the Irish Sea. Sip a cocktail or a drink of your choice and watch the sun go down in our large Sun Lounge next to our resident bar "Rhetts".
Should you wish to indulge yourselves whilst on your break with us, why not upgrade to either the Presidential Suite with 4 poster bed, its own sea view lounge and double jaccuzi bath, or the Washington Suite with a modern design and power shower with radio and steam room! We also offer 6 other executive rooms some with jacuzzi, or 4 poster bed with leather sofas and tastlefully decorated.
We offer our guests FREE leisure facilities at the Hilton Hotel which is only 1 minute walk form the hotel.
We are ideally situated on the North Promenade, away from the husstle and bustle of the town, yet only 5 minutes by tram to the centre of the attractions.
There is a bus stop and tram stop directly outside the hotel.
For the Young at Heart we offer fabulous packages throughout the year, including a tea dance with afternoon entertainment, dancing, cabaret, bingo and staff participation. You also have the FREE use of walking frames, portable hand rails for the bath or shower rooms, mobility scooters, and wheel chairs if so required. Dont' forget by the end of July we will have 3 specially adapted executive rooms for those who require a little more accessibility when on holiday.
If you are attending one of the town conferences, conventions, or concert we are only a ten minute walk from the Winter Gardens Conference Centre, The Opera House, Blackpool Tower and the Grand Theatre.
For those who wish to visit the towns night life, there are countless bars, nightclubs, only ten minutes from the hotel. For those who wish to have a fun night of entertianment, why not stay here and enjoy an evening of fun packed entertainment with cabaret, and hosted by our resident D.J Steph. We are planning a new spectacular show for the Summer hosted by the Nolans Sisters, brother 'Tommy Nolan', with dancing girls, and guests artistes, ending the evening with music and fun with D.J. Steph or 'Stephanie Sparkles'!
We are also installing Sky T.V shortly, with Sky Sports in the 2 bars for those of you who wish to keep up to date with the current sporting events.
