| About Riad Adriana |
Riad Adriana is a charming guest house located in the romantic medina of Marrakech, near the Bab Doukkala mosque, it lives on today as a prestigious Riad with 8 rooms and suites. The Riad is built around 1 flower-filled patio. In the centre of it is a refreshing fountain. Moroccan craftsmen worked long months restoring The Riad Adriana (traditional Marrakech house) to its noble origins, using materials and techniques handed down over centuries: walls covered with tadelakt (a coating that is hand-polished with an agate stone), gebs (chiselled plaster), cedar wood ceilings, and floors made of bejmat (small sand-colored bricks).
Each of the 8 rooms and suites, several with fireplace, is unique in layout and refined decoration, and was designed with a constant attention to detail and authenticity.
Each is air conditioned and heated. The tadelakt bathrooms, each with its own decor, might in themselves be taken for purely condensed comfort.
On the terrace adjoining most rooms and suites an entire carefree lifestyle unfolds, surrounded by oleander, and the fragrance of jasmine. Breakfast - traditional, or deliciously Moroccan - is served on terrace, or in the lounge downstairs.
