| About Relais Villa Matilde Hotel |
| This region is known for the medieval art and its gastronomic pleasures including famous wines.
The Relais is located in a lush private park with secular trees where Guests can spend a peaceful and relaxing stay.
The 18th century villa was first a property of the Ivrea bishop, then of the Vietti family.
In early 1900 the Villa was used as a summer residence by the family of Count Bocca, the ancestors of the owners of the SINA Hotels group.
They provided for thorough conservative restoration of the building, allowing for the preservation until this day of its original beauty.
Also the park, considered an historical monument, is rich of paths and enchanting corners where to stop when going for a walk.
The main building disposes of 35 exclusive guestrooms and suites, each different from the other, all overlooking the park.
Eight more rooms have been located in the spaces which once were used as the farm house.
All guestrooms are provided with wooden floors and colorful fabrics offering in the same time the most modern comforts.
A large outdoor pool is situated in the area once destined to the orchard and offers an oasis of peace and rest for those who seek privacy.
A tennis courts is in the park for hotel guests while a fitness center will be ready in early 2005.
