In 2006 the premises was bought by it's current owner, Mr Richard McDermott who has recently redecorated the premises.

In 1998, the premises was renovated and the story had gone full circle as a Hotel once again stood on the Portobello Bridge, as Messers McDonnell and Monaghan added a twenty five bedroom hotel to their property and expanded the core licensed trade business by expanding the building and the capacity.
