The Restigné Manor, Chateau de La Platerye, in pure XVII century style, is located in the centre of the verdant Loire valley, nestled in the heart of the Bourgueillois vineyard 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris ( by TGV), 10 minutes from the A85 highway (Port Boulet exit), 5 km from the historic village of Bourgueil, the place where the French Royals built their hunting lodges and summer homes.
From the XVI, XVII, and XVIII centuries. The Restigné 'la Platerye' Manor is made up of a building flanked by two lodges and two low wings, an orangery and a tower within the park.
Facilities:Today, this stately residence has been completely renovated to preserve its authenticity and the history of north-west Touraine. It has a bar, a breakfast/buffet room, a pool, a TV room, a business centre/meeting room, a fitness/relaxation room and reception rooms.
An information desk, located within the chateau, handles bookings for trips, transfers and other services.Out-door activities are possible: a heated pool, hiking... or simply taking advantage of the remarkable chateau and the peacefulness of the Loire Valley.Rooms are spacious and individually decorated tastefully, elegantly and in the spirit of XVIII century good living.
The spacious rooms and suites, all non-smoking and uniquely decorated with XVIII century style and elegance, in a grape and vine theme, have a walk-in closet, a bathroom with walk-in shower and/or free-standing bath, hair dryer, telephone, satellite television, safe, and mini bar.
Polished floors and cozy armchairs, old vine stock burning in the fireplace, precious bottles from Touraine and elsewhere based on the selection of our guest. This bar, located in the left wing of the manor, in the heart of the AOC vineyard in BOURGUEIL country, is a top location for tasting the greatest and best harvests. Smoking Room.
