A 3 star Hotel Turist with its capacity, tradition, and different possibilities and programs, is one of the major hotels in the north-west part of Croatia. The Hotel features 104 comfortable and modern rooms (46 single and 58 twin rooms) and 5 suits. Facilities are categorized as economic and business class. Suits and rooms have air conditioning, shower/toilet, SAT/TV, mini-bar, hair dryer, direct telephone line and Internet connection.
Our cooks and chefs cherish the long tradition of Croatian kitchen. They won the first prize in the International Competition of cooks in preparing fish, game and the fruits of the forest. The kitchen itself is a real treasury of domestic flavours. Mr. Damir Crleni, the Chef and Ms. Marija Kuzminski the Assistant to the Chef have won several gold medals which makes the 'Turist' Hotel kitchen a Golden Kitchen. Damir Crleni held a title of the Golden Chef in 2004, and Marija Kuzminski was the winner in the cooking cup in 2005. The kitchen personnel generations constantly develop their skills and improve the quality.
The Restaurant in the hotel has for seven years been amongst the one hundred of the best Croatian restaurants.
There is a vast possibility to arrange celebrations of different occasions in the hotel. The proms, high school reunions, birthday parties, fancy dinners, weddings, accommodating from ten to five hundred persons. To contribute to the occasion and make it merrier, we offer live music of your choice.
Over the centuries Varazdin citizens were diligently building their town, taking special care to make it more beautiful and pleasant. That is how the idyllic central European town come to be a place were man and his work became interlaced by making a harmony of history and contemporaneousness. As you walk along the baroque core of the town, visit some of the numerous galleries, theatre plays or concerts, you can feel the charm that the town hides in its soul and at the same time offers to the visitors. The Town of Varazdin, a peaceful baroque centre of Croatia with a population of approximately 50.000 citizens, is becoming an attractive destination for domestic and foreign visitors. For the last five years, Varazdin was pronounced as one of the tidiest towns in the continental part of Croatia.
