| The castle is surrounded by a 2,6 ha lush historical park enclosed by a stone wall. This Castle had always been famous for magnificent balls the joyful music of which was heard all around the neighbourhood. Various games and races were held, all arranged by a brave family of Podewils, who acquired the castle from duke Boguslaw X in recognition of their contribution to the victory of the battle of Sianow in 1475. The Podewils were then peacefully and happily ruling the area for over four centuries. The castle grew more and more beautiful from generation to generation, yet the brave Podewils were not free from spells or evil magic either, which will be the subject of night tales in the Hotel. You might probably be able to hear moaning convicts, whose solitary spirits have been rambling in the caste... In 1996, a modern, stylish hotel opened within these historic walls. Although the cellars are now called the wine bar, and the old chambers – hotel rooms, there are only few people who know the real history of the place. For our guests convenience we have 60 double occupancy rooms, including 12 suites provided with bathrooms (bathtub or shower) with hair dryer, a mini bar, radio, telephone, and satellite TV, as well as a 24 – hour parking lot. The Podewils is the ideal place to hold congress, conferences, symposia, and training's. We have five beautiful conference rooms which can accommodate 20, 30, 100 or 130 participants. Those who seek a quiet, romantic setting and relax will find here the wonderful restaurant with the fireplace, patio and romantic view at the lake, stylish bar, sauna and fitness studio.
