The surroundings of Pozo Alcón are characterized by the contrasts of many different landscapes, combining green valleys with soft hills, dense forests, rough and suddenly raising peaks and the typical fauna and flora of the high mountains with the presence of many rivers and rivulets. Actually it is this area which still remains the most virgin and pure of all the regions composing the natural park of Cazorla, Segura y las Villas. The great variety of beautiful landscapes allows innumerable activities, for example hiking, 4x4, cannoning and many more as well as water sports and fishing on the lake.
