The Valley of Lecrín, spot of singular beauty among Sierra Nevada and the Tropical Coast, offers numerous attractions for the tourist. It is an area with great anthropological and archaeological importance: since the human settlements Paleolithic and Neolithic of the zone of the "Barranco de los Lobos" to the previous remainders, like the fossils of Amonitas of Cozvíjar or the skeleton fossil of a prehistoric mammoth near Padul.
