Constructed on a hill, the hotel dominates a breathtaking view: a terrace appears over the surrounding hills and forests, overlooking the Elsa Valley and Volterra; the close medieval village of Casole d'Elsa (3 km far) of Etruscan origin, has obtained by the Italian Touring Club the 'Orange Flag" for its high level of echo-environmental quality. The village still keeps intact its ancient aspect but offers all comforts and many attractions and events all year long.
The rooms: the 35 ample 'Comfort' and 'Comfort Plus' rooms as well as the 'Junior Suite', are modern furnished and provided with private services, balcony with panoramic view or private garden, Satellite TV, Internet plug, telephone, Safe, Min-Bar and hair dryer. The Junior Suite and the 'Comfort Plus' rooms have also a Jacuzzi and separate shower. Moreover, two Comfort rooms are available for handicapped hosts.

The Wellness Centre Aquaviva: offers rejuvenating and regenerating treatments through thermo - hydrotherapy and Kneipp parcours; a Finnish Sauna, a Steam Bath, a Scottish Shower, the Jacuzzi, a Solar Shower and an accurate program of body treatments (Himalaya's detoxifying therapy, scrubs..)face treatments and massages (aromatherapy, ayurveda, wine-therapy, shiatsu, cinesse, tuscan massagge, mistique and post – sports massages included), complete our services. Special Healthfully Menu's can be made at the Restaurant for maximizing the results or just as a complement of this treatments.
The Fitness Centre: a highly equipped fitness centre as well as different sports activities are at the guests disposal:. mountain bike hire and sponsored excursions through the area of Siena by bike, on foot or on horse-back. We also organize excursions to the close sea for Scuba – diving with an expert staff. Moreover the surroundings are a great source for people who wants to practice or follow training programs in biking, running ( ideal for marathon's training), and trekking.
The swimming pools: the hotel has a heated indoor pool and two outdoor pools (one for children) with waterfalls, a children playground and a ping - pong table, ideal for family holidays, to whom we offer special packages with meaningful reductions for children.
The Restaurants:
"Il Cavaliere" (The Knight), an formal atmosphere, air conditioned, offers an international and a traditional Tuscan cuisine together with fish and crustaceous specialties and a wide selection of wines;
"La Salsiccia" (The Saussage), an informal ambient, placed on a panoramic terrace, offers mainly barbecues such as grilled meat, fish, pizza and special menus for children. Both restaurants are suitable for ceremonies and banquets.
The hotel also has a comfortable common-room with Satellite TV; the Lounge Bar and the panoramic terrace are ideal for a brunch or an aperitif in the sunset.
