Grants Hotel is situated in the heart of Harrogate close to the shops and entertainments, yet within easy reach of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, Herriot country and the ancient City of York.
Each of our well-appointed bedrooms is equipped with private bathroom, colour television, radio, direct-dial telephone, modem point, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press.
Chimney Pots Bistro offers fine fresh food in a comfortable and informal atmosphere. Brightly coloured check cloths and blinds complement the humorous pictures painted by Beryl Cook.
Grants is affiliated to the Academy which is Harrogate's most exclusive health and leisure club with swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gymnasium, dance studio, indoor and outdoor tennis and health spa offering many health and beauty treatments.
The Herriot Business Suite provides the ideal location for meetings and training courses for up to 35 people boardroom style or 70 people theatre style. The suite is air-conditioned and has natural daylight. This suite is also a wonderful venue for Wedding Receptions, Anniversary Parties, Christenings, Retirement Dinners to name but a few!
There are forty two tastefully decorated bedrooms each superbly equipped with private bathroom, colour television, radio, direct-dial phone, modem point, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press. There are single rooms, standard double rooms, superior twin/double rooms, luxury rooms and four poster suites.
The housekeeping department is under the control of Elaine Long who has been a member of the Grants' team for the past twenty two years. Elaine and her team ensure that bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily and are also responsible for laundering the bistro linen and making sure that there is always an adequate supply of bed linen, towels and cleaning materials.
The air-conditioned Harry Grant's Bar is full of memorabilia of all types from the military theme, the local theme and the wall full of interesting family pictures- the ideal place for bar snack lunch. The adjacent lounge is a comfortable haven for guests who wish to relax in a quieter atmosphere.
The Herriot Business suite provides quality accommodation for business meetings and small conferences as well as being ideal for Weddings, Anniversary Parties, Christenings or any Private Parties. Combined with its own Carlton Bar and three cloakrooms the suite is self-contained with its separate entrance to the patio garden.
All reservations are looked after by our Reception team led by Doreen. Pamela is our Sales Manager and she looks after bookings for business meetings, corporate events, weddings and private dinner parties.
