The building has been added to the Artistic Heritage catalogue of the city. Pedro Bassegoda i Mateu built this small palace in 1876, and in 1998 it opened its doors as a hotel.

The Catalonia Albinoni hotel still preserves its original Neoclassical façade which features Romantic and Baroque motifs. The entry hall, which would be large enough to let in the carriages from the beginning of the century, leads us to the interior courtyard that has been renovated according to the original model. The hotel reception and bar are currently in this courtyard. There we can admire the original marble staircase, typical of the finest houses of those times.

All rooms are carefully decorated and equipped with air conditioning, minibar, direct dial telephone, interactive satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, Canal +, safe deposit box and complete marble bathroom with a hair dryer.
