About Casa de Carmona Hotel
When you arrive at the Casa de Carmona, you sense that life has suddenly become much easier. You can stop worrying about your car and luggage: the porter will park your car and the concierge will immediately take your bags to your room. One of our charming receptionists will meet you at the door to show you around the house.

As she accompanies you to your room, she'll show you through the courtyards and gardens, take you through the library and offer you a complimentary drink from the free-bar. She will ask if you would like a chambermaid to unpack your bags and take any laundry you may have, and tell you that you may leave your shoes outside your door at night to find them awaiting you in the morning - freshly polished and ready for the day.

The Building: Construction of the main palace was completed in 1561. The Loggia terrace was annexed in the 1700s and the Casa de Campo containing rooms 24 to 31 was annexed in the 1800s.
The Restoration: The palace was bought by Doña Marta Medina in September 1986, who planned, financed and directed the entire restoration from ruin, starting in 1986 to a luxury hotel of 30 rooms, ending in March 1991. No expense was spared to result in a grandeur probably more luxurious than it originally was when first built. The restoration has preserved all of the palace's original spaces and details, most dating from the sixteenth century, while incorporating modern comforts in an unobtrusive way. Air conditioning was installed above the mouldings so that it is not seen.

The Decoration: Since the layout is from the renaissance, with moorish influence, the rooms all look towards the interior. Each room has retained its distinctive height and proportions. Each is furnished with its own combination of antique furniture, elegant fabrics and original prints.

The Atmosphere: Grand spaces. 4 inner courtyards full of potted plants, each with a running fountain. Inmaculate, quiet, relaxed, opulent, distinguished and private.

The restaurant is situated in the space that used to be the stables of the palace. It is decorated with paintings of life-size horses in movement, al fresco on stucco, executed by Mr. Guardiola Medina in September 1991. The background tonality is terracotta stucco.

The tables, all proceding from british antiquarians, are in mahogany. The chairs, also in mahogany, were realized on charge by the renowned carpenter from Carmona, D. Eduardo Buzón.

The glassworks are hand-made in the old sevillian manufactory of La Trinidad de Sevilla. The crockery is from La Cartuja de Sevilla, and the silverware from Cagliari. The table is laid in the english way, on an individual tablecloth varnished in crimson and old gold.

At the Casa de Carmona you will find the professional knowledge and experience you need to design the best program of events to suit your trip's objectives.

Our treatment of groups and meetings is organised and executed to an excruciating level of detail which results in thanks and praise time and again by our clients.
