This former aristocratic palace, now transformed into an impressive historic hotel, takes its visitors back to older long forgotten times. A look at the guest list of historic hotel is impressive itself - the famous Italian poet Dante Alighieri and Francesco Patrarca (who even wrote a sonnet about the palace) are among the first guests who stayed there. Other famous guests include the opera singer Beniamino Gigli and the princess Maria Isabella Elena di Savoia.
Living like Dante in Italy
Unique colorful painted ceilings and old-fashioned ornate molding distinguish in particular the suites of the romantic hotel. The standard rooms of the 4 star hotel, however, are also very elegantly and stylishly decorated. For the room furnishings, only fabrics with elegant traditional patterns were used, and the furniture is also traditional and classic Italian. Some rooms of the Bosone Palace still look very much like they would have in Dante's time. Even though the interior decorating of the Bosone Palace has been reconstructed, one still feels the charm of a noble medieval palace, following in the footsteps of famous historic figures. The spirit of Dante still roams through the halls of the historic hotel in Umbria!

The vaulted ceilings and walls are mostly natural uncovered stone, creating a close, romantic setting, and the fine damask tablecloths radiate elegance. In the summer, the garden of the Bosone Restaurant also invites you to dine. Breakfast is served in a room that has all the style and elegance of the charming Palace.
