An Chúirt, is built on the foundations of what was formerly Lord George Hill's residence in Gweedore from the 1830's. More recently the house was used as a hunting lodge and then as a hotel during the early 20th century.
In the late 1980's local man Mr Patrick Doherty and family, dedicated themselves to its restoration. The passion to maintain the atmosphere of the old hotel is evident throughout. From fine art, quality fabrics and furnishing, porcelain antiques and pieces of history not to mention the inspiring scenery it's a hidden treasure.
